Comparison Research of SNA and MSA in Revealing the Knowledge Structure

以2006年图书情报学高被引论文为数据源,运用多元统计方法和社会网络分析法,揭示当年研究热点及潜在知识结构。比较两种分析方法在方法基础、算法、分析结果和应用局限方面的不同。经过理论分析与实证研究认为两种方法在揭示知识结构中有很好的互补性,应结合使用。

Using the highly cited articles on library and information science in 2006 as data source, the paper reveals the research hotspot and potential knowledge structure of it by applying MSA and SNA respectively, and contrasts the two analysis methods in the aspect of method basis, algorithm, analysis result and application limitation. Through theoretical analysis and empirical study, the two methods are proved to have strong complementarity and sould be used together.
