摘要
考虑到起源于三阶电极化率χ(3)实部的非线性折射率所引起的自相位调制现象(SPM)对光场分布的影响,经过一些近似处理,求解了多模光纤中的高斯光脉冲传输方程,所得结果与传统的单模光纤自相位调制理论不同.
Effect of selfphase modulation(SPM) on the distribution of the optical fields, which is caused by nonlinear refraction originating from the thirdorder susceptibility Reχ(3), is considered. Through some approximations, the equation that governs the propagation of Gaussian optical pulses in multimode fibers is solved. The results are different from that of conventional selfphase modulation in singlemode fibers.
