社会工作价值观是社会工作专业的灵魂,不仅界定了社会工作本身的目标和意义,而且它同时界定社会工作的技巧和方法。起源于西方的社会工作价值观主要源于基督教思想、人道主义和福利主义等,我国的社会工作专业发展尽管起步缓慢但相当迅速,因此充分开发利用传统文化资源对于社会工作价值观本土化进程的推进是极为重要的。

Values of social work are the soul of social work profession,which defines not only the goal and signification of social work, but also the skill and measure of social work. Values of social work deriving from the West are based on Christianism, Humanitari- anism,positivism,welfare and so on. Even though the outset of social work in China is relatively late,the pace of it is extremely quick. Thus,it is crucially important to localize the social work values to make fall use of the resources of traditional culture.
