Entries of modern Chinese are the weak point of Hanyu Da Cidian （汉语大词典）. The paper discusses 26 entries of modern Chinese in it and raises revising proposals. These entries are classified into five types： entries omitting. meanings omitting, incorrect explanations, late citations and other problems.
