On the Problems of Animal Epidemic Prevention in Building New Rural Areas of West China and Their Countermeasures

社会主义新农村建设离不开畜牧业的健康发展,而加强动物防疫则是畜牧业健康发展的重要保障。西部农村建设中动物防疫工作存在一些问题,包括防疫机构队伍、基层防疫手段和监督手段等方面,相应地,应采取加大经费投入、加强动物防疫体系和队伍建设、加大宣传力度等措施。

The building of Socialist new rural areas can not go without the healthy development of the livestock husbandry and strengthening the animal epidemic prevention is the important guarantee to develop healthy livestock husbandry. There are some problems in the animal epidemic prevention work in Building New Rural Areas of West China, including those problems in the epidemic prevention troops, the epidemic prevention means and the supervision means. Correspondingly, some measures such as increasing the budget devotion, strengthening the animal epidemic prevention system and troops construction, enlarging the publicity of importance of the animal epidemic prevention should be adopted.
