中医学带有鲜明的中国传统文化特色,中国本土的心理学思想脱胎于中国古代哲学,传统的精神医学与中国古代哲学更是息息相关,儒道释思想中包含着许多有价值的精神医学观念。受中国古代哲学影响,中医精神医学对心的认识、对形神观的论述有着截然不同于西方的独特视角。儒、道、释哲学提供了对人格的干预技术和调节心理平衡的手段,在一定意义上成为防治精神疾病的良药。
