中庸之道是中国文化的一个重要特质,作为一种思维方法和生存艺术在其他民族文化中也有体现。由于经济学是一种研究两难冲突的学问,需要折衷两难冲突找出最优解,中庸之道在经济学中体现得尤为明显。西方经济学家在一系列宏观经济范畴和问题上各持一端,在相互辨难的过程中,逐渐形成了取各家所长、弃各家所短的比较符合客观现实的主流宏观经济学,这里所体现的就是中庸精神。

The doctrine of the mean is one characteristic of Chinese euhure and finds expression in other cultures as a way of thinking and an art of survival. Because eeonomies is a branch of learning for solving dilemmas and finding the optimal solutions, the doctrine of the mean finds full expression in economies. Because the Western economists usually have quite different views on a series of categories and problems of macro - economies, through different kinds of arguments they have absorbed the merits of each other and established a dominating macro - economies which suits fairly well the reality, a mirror of the doetrine of the mean.
