唐代洛阳的职业墓志撰稿人

The Professional Writer of Epigraph in Tang Dynasty in Luoyang Area

在洛阳出土的唐代墓志中,有不少志文几乎相同或大致相同者。究其原因,应该是志文撰者自留底稿,然后根据不同情况加以修改而成。这些志文撰者是职业墓志撰稿人。墓志作为随葬物,是埋于地下的,一般不容易穿帮。但随着一方方墓志的出土,这一情况也随之大白于天下。这种墓志文一般都不署作者大名。

Among the Tang Dynasty epigraphs excavated in Luoyang area, most of them are similar or almost the same. The study shows that the writers of epigraph drafted and kept the manuscript and would revise accordingly. Then they made their living on writing epigraph professionally. As the epigraph is buried in the tomb, the others would not know the secret. But now more and more epigraphs have been excavated, people come to know the truth. However, the epigraph carries no writer＇ s name at all.
