新疆地质地貌景观的地学特征与科学价值

Geological Characteristic and Scientific Value of Geomorhopologic Landscapes in Xinjiang

地质地貌景观是新疆最重要的地质遗迹类型,而风成地貌、冰川地貌、山岳地貌和火山地貌则是新疆地质地貌景观中最主要的亚类。尽管不同类型的地质地貌景观由于成因上的差异而显现出独特的地学特征,但地质地貌景观的形成均与新疆复杂的地质构造演化史和多旋回的岩浆活动、尤其是新构造运动密切相关。新疆地质地貌景观为大地构造及地壳演化研究、冰川冻土和山地研究、沙漠研究等领域科学问题的探讨提供了重要线索,具有极高的科学研究价值和科普教育价值。

Geomorpohologic landscape is the most important geological heritage type in Xinjiang, and the most principal subsets of it are wind-drift sand landform, glacial landform, mountain landform and volcanic landform. Although different geomorhopologic landscapes appeared unique geological characteristics because of the difference of their formation, the formation of geomorhopologic landscapes are related to th.e Geologic-tectonic evolutional history and the multicycle magmatic activities, especially the neotectonic movements. Geomorhopologic landscapes in Xinjiang provided important cules for the studies of tectonics and crustal evolution, glaciology and geocryology, mountain research and desert research, and so on, it is valuable for science research and popular science education.
