摘要
汤显祖的《牡丹亭》上承《西厢记》、下启《红楼梦》,是中国古典文学中一座不可企及的艺术高峰,其艺术魅力一直为人们所津津乐道。汤显祖在对民间文学素材经过艺术加工和处理之后,起到了勾连全剧、寄托情思、深化寓意、凸显主题的作用,使异彩纷呈的民间神话、传说和故事与整部作品浑然一体,演绎出一部意象丰满、诗情浓郁、浪漫瑰丽、亦幻亦真的爱情传奇。
Peony Pavilion by TANG Xian - zu, bridges Romance of the West Chamber and The Dream of the Red Chamber. People take delights in talking about its artistic charm for it is an artisc summit that cannot be scaled in ancient Chinese literature. Peony Pavilion involves not only the two major Chinese mythology systems but also the important category of ancient myths ; local heritage legend, a large number of religious legends and historical legends. These colorful materials in folk literature, handled by TANG Xian - zu, played a role in deepening the implication and theme of Peony Pavilion. These colorful folk myths, legends and stories unify the entire work seamlessly , and presentus a romantic and magnificent love legend.
