The paper briefly presents indigenous production of refrigerating sets used in imported FAL056/3 railway mechanical freezer cars,with special focus on the analysis of four alternative components in the refrigerating system. The success of indigenous production has solved the problem of component replacement difficulties for imported refrigerating sets.
