The mangrove wetland ecosystem of Maowei Sea Mangrove Reserve in Qinzhou, Guangxi was introduced. The establishment of the nature reserve played an important role in protecting natural resources in Maowei Sea and the coastal wetland biodiversity, carrying out scientific research, performing the International Wetland Convention, protecting the natural ecological environment, establishing a good image of China and promoting local economic development. By analyzing the status and problems of the wetlands ecological protection of Maowei Sea Mangrove Reserve, the countermeasures were put forward.
