Exploration on Student-oriented Methodology in College English Teaching

以学生为中心的大学英语教学模式是现行大学英语教学改革的途径之一。以学生为中心的课堂教学体现了现行的"一切为了学生"全面发展的教学理念。在大学英语教学中,教师应根据大学英语教学的目标,更新教育观念,改进教学方法,积极探索以学生为主体的大学英语教学模式。在教学中既要注重学生的学习结果,也要注重学生的学习过程,最终达到大学英语教学的目标——培养学生综合应用英语的能力。

The student-oriented methodology is one of the effective teaching models in the reform of the present college English teaching. The class teaching of student-oriented presents a new teaching concept in the all rounded development of the students. In college English teaching, teachers should not only keep in mind the goal of the college English, but also explore a new teaching model to meet the needs of the students in the 21st. century. Only doing this can they fulfill the English goal——help the students to use English well and appropriately.
