网络技术的快速发展,使传统高校图书馆面临机遇与挑战,高校图书馆依托网络资源优势,加快图书馆信息资源数字化步伐,针对网络环境下读者(用户)信息需求的特点开展信息服务,进一步开拓信息服务的渠道,同时更需要培养一支高水平、高素质的馆员队伍,最大限度地满足读者(用户)对情报信息的需求,真正成为信息时代的"导航员"。

Traditional university library is facing with opportunity and challenge along with the fast development of network technology. University libraries should take advantage of the superiority of network resources, speed up the digitization of library information resource, carry out the information service according to the characteristic of the reader＇s （user＇s） information need under the network enviroment, and further develop the channel of information service. Simultaneously a high level,high quality library contingent needs to be raisen in order to satisfy the reader＇s demand for information to the maximum,and they will become the ＂navigators＂ in the information age.
