摘要 China,UN agencies launch project to protect ethnic minority cultures A project to protect Chinese ethnic minority cultures,jointly funded by the United Nations and the Chinese government,was launched here on March 27. The joint project,the'China Culture and Development Partnership Framework',will receive 6 million U.S.dollars from the UNSpain Millennium Development Goal Achievement Fund and 1 million U.S.dollars from the Chinese government over three years, said Khalid Malik,UN Resident Coordinator in China. Cooling, a street on world heritage site Mount Lushan in eastern China's Jiangxi Province, re-opened to tourists in the May Day holiday after a restoration project, an official with the Lushan administration confirmed on May 3.
