摘要
介绍了工业以太网及其实时性,分析了在工业以太网中需要确定通信调度的原因,给出了测量非实时通信带宽的意义。讨论了非实时通信带宽的基本概念,并结合EPA网络给出了测量非实时通信带宽的方法,重点介绍了EPA网络某一链路上瓶颈带宽的测量。测试中控制台PC控制测试流程、设置测试参数以及结果的显示,测试代理PC执行具体的测试任务。实际测试证明测量方法可行,测试结果表明所测网络达到了要求的指标。
This paper introduces EPA ( Ethernet for plant automation) and its real time performance. The reason why EPA needs communication schedules is analyzed. The significance of the measurement of the nonreal-time communication bandwidth is given. The conception of the non-real-time communication bandwidth is introduced and the measuring method is presented with emphasis on the measurement of the bottleneck band- width. In the measurement the console PC controls the test flow, sets the test parameter and displays the test result. The test agent PC accomplishes the particular test task. The actual test measurement method is feasible, and test results show that the measured network meets the required index.
