摘要
对UML进行轻量级扩展,建立了一套针对联机分析处理(OLAP)的扩展机制,并建立基于多维建模的OLAP元模型。实现OLAP在概念层上的设计,取代了以往在具体的表结构和数据仓库系统上进行建模的方法。使得OLAP较早地伴随数据仓库系统进入设计阶段,以减少开发的时间和代价。
By using the lightweight extension mechanism of UML,a profile of OLAP is provided,and OLAP metamodel is designed based on multidimensional modeling.By using this profile,OLAP is designed on conceptual level,instead of traditional method of specify OLAP by considering only the final table structure and DWs.In this way,the design of OLAP is specified in the early stages of a DW project,thus the development time and cost is reduced.
