摘要
体裁及体裁分析理论越来越多地应用于我国的语言课堂教学。但是,以现行的大学英语写作教材为基础的体裁分析的应用研究还相对较少。以美国语言学家Swales的体裁理论为基础,探讨体裁分析在大学英语写作课堂上的应用途径。Swales认为,体裁是交际事件的一种分类,体裁分析旨在研究语篇的交际目的和语言使用策略。基于此,在大学英语写作教学中,教师可以在教学中融合体裁概念,指导学生分析语篇情境、图式结构,选择得体的语言表达方式,实现语篇的交际目的。
The theories of genres and genre analysis have been widely applied to class language teaching in China, but the study of the genre analysis of the textbooks on college English writing is far from enough. According to the theory of genre analysis proposed by the American linguist Swales, this thesis tries to find the effective ways of applying the theory to the class teaching of college English writing. In Swales view, genres are used to classify communicative events, and genre analysis is aimed at specifying the communication intentions of discourses and the strategies for using languages. From Swales theory, this thesis makes the conclusion that in the class teaching of college English writing could teachers employ the concepts of genres to help their students analyze the contexts and schemas of discourses and choose appropriate English expressions so as to realize the communication intentions of discourses.
