林则徐、魏源对西方图书馆的译介及其影响

The Contributions of Lin Zexu and Wei Yuan to the Introduction of Western Library into China

林则徐在《四洲志》、魏源在《四洲志》的基础上于《海国图志》中译介、宣传了西方图书馆,使中国学人以浓厚兴趣考察、宣传西方图书馆,同时,《海国图志》传入日本,使日本舍"文库"(图书馆)而用"书馆",再用"书籍馆",最后用"图书馆"一词,于清末流入中国,形成创建省图书馆的浪潮。

Lin Zexu and Wei yuan introduced and publicized western libraries in Hai Guo Tu Zhi on the basis of Si Zhou Zhi ,and made Chinese scholars inspect and give publicity to western libranies with a keen interest. Furthermone, with the introduction of Hai Guo Tu zhi into Japan, the term of librany was used and was brought into china in the late of Qing Qynasty ,and the establishment of provincial library was prosperous.
