Treatment for cervical spondylopathy with magnetic force vibration heat (MVH) accompanied by traction

观察磁热振对颈椎病的治疗作用

Objective Effect observation of the cervical spondylopathy cases treated with MVH. Methods Patients from 193 Cervical spondylopathy cases were divided into two group:81 cases treated with single cervical traction and 112 cases treated with MVH and traction.Traction tension for cervical is ordinarily 80 to 14 kg,Intermittent traction traction was supplied.Magnetic field trength of MVH instrument was 120～620 Gauss and temperature was 40～60℃.Special pole mats for neck and shoulder were used. Results The excellent effective rate for the single traction group was 51%.The excellet effective rate of MVH with traction group was 70.5%.Comparison was made between two group's excellent effective rate.There was a significant difference of P<0.05.When less than 10 time treatments supplied separately to two groups,it received effect in 43 cases in single cerical traction group and 87 cases in MVH with traction group.Comparison of times of beginning to get effect was made in both groups and it was found that there was a significant difference of P<0.01. Conclusions Except the effect of MVH,effects of special pole mats attached to the MVH instrument which could be put around neck make muscle spasm lysis and inerease therapeutic effect with traction.
