反思多媒体网络环境中大学英语教师的角色

Some Reflections on Teachers' Role in Network and Multimedia-based Foreign Language Instruction

随着网络和多媒体技术广泛应用于大学英语教学,大学英语教师的传统角色受到冲击,通过访谈和问卷调查的方式,发现由于社会对教师的期望值越来越高,教师对自身角色普遍存在着困惑。反思这些问题,相应提出一些解决方法。

As network and Multimedia are widely used in college English teaching, the traditional roles of teachers meet some challenges. By interviewing and questionnaire surveying, the author found that there generally existed confusions and reflections among college English teachers on their new roles because of the higher and higher expectations society place on them. Finally, the paper gives some relevant suggestions to solve the problems.
