Non-profit geological field work is a basic hard work;it is an important cause related to the national resources,the environment,as well as the people's livelihood.The paper points out some problems relating to the life of nonprofit geological field staff.Some appropriate measures for improving the life treatment are offered as follows:improving both the material living conditions and the equipment for geological field work;developing diverse cultural life;establishing a mechanism of incentives and disincentives.
