介绍１９９６～１９９７年我国塑料工业进展。根据１９９６年７月～１９９７年６月期间国内合成树脂和塑料工业及相关学科的原始文献资料，对通用热塑性树脂（聚乙烯、聚丙烯、聚氯乙烯、聚苯乙烯及ＡＢＳ）、热固性树脂（酚醛、环氧、聚氨酯、不饱和聚酯、双马来酰亚胺）、工程塑料（尼龙、聚碳酸酯、聚甲醛、热塑性聚酯及ＰＰＯ）、特种工程塑料（聚苯硫醚、液晶聚合物、聚醚醚酮、聚砜聚醚砜、其他特种工程塑料）、其他树脂（聚酰亚胺、有机硅、有机氟树脂、丙烯酸树脂、降解塑料、吸水吸油树脂及功能树脂）、成型加工与设备、塑料助剂和应用开发等各专业领域国内现状、发表的论文、取得的成果和工艺、技术进步作了全面、系统的介绍，展示了我国１９９６～１９９７年合成树脂和塑料工业的进展。

The progress of the plastics industry of China in 1996～1997 is given in this paper.Based on the firsthand papers about synthetic resin,plastics and interrelated science and technology of China in July 1996～June 1997,the current situation,issued papers,the achievement and recent development and technical advance of general thermoplastics (PE,PP,PVC,PS and ABS),thermoset resins (phenolics,epoxy resin,polyurethane,unsaturated polyester and dimaleimide),engineering plastics (nylon,PC,POM,thermoplatics polyester and PPO),special engineering plastics (PS,LCP,PEEK,PES and other special engineering plastics)other resins (polyimide,silicone,fluoroplastics,acrylic resin,degradable plastics,water/oil obsorbing resin and functional resin),fabrication technique and machinery,plastics additive,as well as plastics application and development,are introduced comprehensively and systematically in this paper,showing the progress of the synthetic resin and plastics industry of China in 1996～1997.
