介绍了西气东输二线管道工程的基本概况;叙述了中国石油管道局各工程单位所采用的自动焊类型和特点;重点阐述了管道自动焊技术培训工作的情况及培训程序;结合正在施工过程中的西气东输二线管道工程的实践经验,介绍自动焊在工程中的具体应用状况。
This paper gives an introduction of the Second West-East Gas Transmission Pipeline Project and summarizes the types and characteristics of automatic pipeline welding used by CPP（China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau）.It elaborates on the automatic pipeline welding training programs for CPP and cases of the application of automatic welding in pipeline projects in the light of the current construction of the Second West-East Gas Transmission Pipeline Project.
