View on the theory of talent selection according to the Chinese traditional opera writing in the Yuan Dynasty

元代是否"以曲取士",争论由来已久,肯定者与否定者都未能拿出令人信服的论据。透过这一命题,探讨元代宫廷文学与民间文学的相互影响,关注元代梨园教坊中是否存在考试制度,不失为一有价值的途径。

Whether ＂talent selection according to the Chinese traditional opera writing＂ was implemented in the Yuan Dynasty has been argued for a long time without convincing evidences. This paper holds the vies that it is of much value to explore the interaction of imperial court literature and folk literature and pay attention to the issue of whether the examination system existed in the theatrical circle in the Yuan Dynasty.
