摘要
释意理论直接来源于对会议口译实践的系统性研究,对口译教学影响深远,但也颇受争议。以往研究释意理论的视角,多限于当代较为成熟的学术语境。本研究拟重建释意理论产生时的语境,阐明释意理论的缘起和"传译共性"的理论核心,指出释意理论在其所处时代的得与失,以便于释意理论在我国口译教学中更好地发挥指导作用。
Developed from a systematic study of conference interpreting practice, the Interpretative Theory of Translation has had a far-reaching influence on the interpretation pedagogy, but also evoked considerable controversy. Previous studies of the theory have been largely restricted to familiar academic contexts. This paper, by reconstructing the historical context in which the theory came into being, attempts to probe its origin, its core notions of "translation universals", and its merits and problems at the time of its birth. The aim is to find out its implications for the interpreter training in China.
