从分析研究陕西石化工业结构现状入手，找出了结构调整缓慢这一制约全省石化工业发展的主要症结。并从国际发展趋势、国内市场要求和行业经营实践等方面进行多角审视，明确提出调整结构势在必行。同时，又认真分析了陕西石化工业调整结构机遇成熟、条件具备，提出了战略性结构调整的内容和实施的三大战略措施。

Through analyzing and researching the current situation of Shaanxi petrochemical industry, the article elucidates that the slower adjustment of the structure seriously restricts the developments of Shaanxi petrochemical industry. Thinking from several aspects including international developing tendency, national marketing demand, trade managing practice and so on, the necessity to adjust the structure has been clearly advanced. At the meantime, seriously analyzing the mature chance and qualified conditions for adjusting the structure of Shaanxi petrochemical industry, the contents and three measures for strategic adjusting structure have been advanced too.
