Preparation of High Purity Titanium Sesquioxide

用高纯氢和高纯二氧化钛，在四氯化钛存在下，可以得到高纯三氧化二钛。Ｔｉ３＋的含量大于９９％，杂质铁、硅、钙、镁的含量均小于１０×１０－６。阐述了不同三氧化二钛产量的最佳工艺条件，讨论了四氯化钛促进还原反应的原因。

High purity titanium sesquioxide was obtained by the reaction of high purity hydrogen and titanium dioxide in the presence of titanium tetrachloride. The content of Ti3+ is over 99% and the content of impurity such as Fe, Ca, Mg and Si is all below 10×10-6. The optimum technology conditions of different yields titanium sesquioxide were described and the cause of promoting reduction process by titanium tetrachloride was discussed.
