摘要
使用有限元法计算了单棒芯和三棒芯三角格子光子晶体光纤的有效面积.对单棒芯和三棒芯晶体光纤有效面积的数值计算结果进行了对比,它们有相似的变化趋势.在晶体光纤的结构参量不变时,二者的有效面积都随波长的增加而增大.在归一化波长不变时,二者的有效面积随孔径孔距比的增加而减小.并且在归一化波长较小时,三棒芯晶体光纤具有较大的有效面积,而在归一化波长超过一定值时,情况则刚好相反.
The effective areas of triangular lattice photonie crystal fiber (PCF) are calculated using the finite element method both for single-rod core and three-rod core PCF. We have compared the numerical results of effective area between them and find that they have similar varying tendency. When the structural parame- ters of PCF are fixed, the effective areas of them is increased with increasing wavelength and is decreased with increasing ratio of hole diameter and hole pitch as the normalized wavelength keeps constant. Our results show that the effective area of three-rod core PCF is larger than that of single-rod core PCF as the normalized wavelength is small. And the situation is reversed when the normalize wavelength is increased beyond a certain value.
