The significance of determining wind power penetration limit in wind farm is introduced briefly,and the approaches to calculate wind power penetration limit, such as traditional digital simulation,the optimization algorithm with constraints and frequency constraint method,are separately discussed, the advantages and disadvantages of above-mentioned approaches are analyzed.h provide reference for calculation of wind power penetration limit.
