Probing into the Historical Origin and Development Process of the Verb-Complement Structure

动补结构①的历史来源及其发展过程是语法学领域一个较为重要的课题,目前专家学者对其研究分歧较大。本文在分析其他学者研究成果的基础上得出如下结论:紧邻的句法环境这一必要条件决定了动补结构的历史来源只能是连动结构这种形式;连动结构的四种格式在相关因素的共同作用下逐渐发展为动补结构。

The historical origin and development process of the verb - complement structure is a relatively important problem in grammar field. At present, the scholars have different opinions about it. This article drew a con- clusion based on the other scholars＇ study： it was the close syntactic circumstances as one of the necessary conditions that decided the historical origin of the verb - complement structure was only the verb - verb structures. In addition, four patterns of the verb - verb structures developed into the verb - complement structure little by little affected by the relative factors.
