摘要
"哑巴英语"和"中国文化失语症"是口语交际中的两个极端情况,反映出口语教学中两个被忽视的重要环节。本文根据"补缺假说"原理分析了高校英语口语教学的问题,提出在口语教学中从语境和中国文化的英语表达式两个方面进行补缺,才能够使学生形成较为全面的英语口语能力,才能够保证跨文化交际的顺利进行。
"Mute English" and "Aphasia in Chinese Culture", originated from the negligence o! two important links in the teaching of oral English in colleges, reflect two extremes in oral communication. This paper analyzed problems in the teaching of oral English according to the Compensation Hypothesis and propounded that context and language forms peculiar to expressing Chinese culture should be given priority.
