THE EFFECT OF RARE EARTH ELEMENTS ON THE STRUCTURE AND PROPERTIES OF VACUUM SHERARDIZING LAYER

摘要 研究了不同工艺参数和添加RE对渗锌层的影响,对比了渗层厚度、金相组织、显微硬度、尺寸增厚值、单位面积的增重、Zn的浓度分布和Zn渗层的形貌、渗层和基体交界面的冶金扩散层等.渗锌层主要由FeZn_4和FeZn相组成.在相同的工艺条件下,添加RE能增加渗锌层的厚度.渗层中Zn的浓度分布和显微硬度略低.但相结构与不加RE的无明显的区别. In this paper, a research has been made on the effect of different processing parameters and the addition of rare earth elements on the sherardizing layer. The properties of different thickness of layers, metallo-graphi microstructures, microhardness, increasing of dimensions, weight increase per area, the zinc distribution, topology of sherardizing layer, the metallurgical diffusion layer at the interface of sherardizing layer of the specimens with or without addition of rare earth elements have been compared. The sheradizing layers are mainly composed of FeZn4 and FeZn. Under the same processing conditions, as a result of addition of rare earth elements, the thickness of the sherardizing layer increases, while its zinc content and microhardness decreas, however, no difference, between phase structures is observed.
