The novel, Women are ＂honey＂ which was written by a Naxi female writer named Hexiaomei, reflects the three generations＇ fates of Naxi women. It also reflects Naxi women＇s spirit of selflessness, contribution and sacrifice. It reveals the pain that Naxi women suffer from the traditional custom： love suicide. Naxi women are puzzled by the contradiction between marriage and feelings; and they are always in struggling. Once a Naxi woman chooses her love and marriage; she chooses her fate as well. The novel indicates Naxi intellectuals＇ concern about the world.
