从中国与世界互动和交往的角度,可以把中国现代化发展进程概括为三个历史阶段。中国第三期现代化发展阶段也可称为辐射型现代化阶段,其基本实质就是中国在中国特色的社会主义道路上真正实现了中华民族的伟大复兴,中国重新成为世界先进文明大国。中国要实现辐射型现代化发展目标,就必须始终不渝地坚持走和平发展的道路。和平发展是中国辐射型现代化发展的本质特征,是实现中国辐射型现代化发展的重要外部条件,是实现中国人民根本利益与世界各国人民共同利益相互结合的根本纽带,是积累、提升和向外辐射中国优秀文化传统与软实力的重大战略,它体现了中国现代化发展目标顺应世界发展潮流和历史前进方向的进步理念。

Analyzing and understanding from the standpoints of the interactions and interchanges between China and the world, China＇s modernization cause can be divided into three historical phases. The Phase Ⅲ can also be called as radial -pattern modernization, whose essence is to realize the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation along the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics and resumes an advanced civilized country in the world. In order to fulfill it, China must unremittingly stick to the principle of peaceful development. Peaceful development is the essence and the basic external conditions for realizing the radial - pattern modemization, a basic tie which links the fundamental interest of Chinese people to the common interest of the world, and a fatal strategy to accumulate, upgrade and exert the influence of Chinese good cultural tradition and soft power, which reflects the concept that the target of Chinese modernization keeps up with the trend of the world development and the advance of the history.
