摘要
运用明茨伯格的管理者角色理论对中国饭店业总经理角色进行了实证研究。研究内容主要包括分析我国饭店总经理对十个角色的重要度感知评价与他们实际工作中角色扮演之间的差异,以及不同层级总经理所扮演的管理者角色差异。研究结论是:饭店总经理认为相对重要的角色与实际角色扮演存在较大差异,且正副职总经理在实际角色扮演方面也存在差异。因此,对于饭店来说,要为总经理建立相应的角色标准;对于总经理来说,应明确自己的角色扮演,以减少工作中的角色冲突,更好地胜任工作。
Based on Mintzberg's manager's role theory, the empirical research on the general manager of Chinese restaurants is made in this paper. The research contents include the Chinese restaurant general manager's importance perception evaluation on ten roles, the difference of their role play in practice, and the difference of the gen- eral manager's role at different level. The research result is that the general manager of restaurant thinks that there is a difference between the comparatively important role and the practical role, and there is a practical role play difference between the full general manager and associate general manager. Hence, the restaurant should build the standard/or general manger's role, and the general manager should understand his role, and try to reduce the conflict in practice and to work better.
