试析高校英语教学中的文化导入

Analyzing on Leading in the Culture in English Teaching of University

从英语教学与文化的关系谈起,提出高校英语教学不仅要重视对学生语言能力的培养,还要重视学生背景文化素质的提高。教师在导入文化元素时要注意把握文化教学的内容,遵循一定的原则,并要采取灵活的教学方法,如此方能有效地培养学生的文化能力,提高其交际成功率。

This paper, through discussing the relationship between language and culture, suggests that in college English teaching, we should not only focus on developing students＇ ability to command the language, but give priority to the enhancement of their cultural quality. When introducing culture into teaching, the teachers have to be careful in choosing their teaching content, follow some certain principles, and adopt flexible teaching strategies, thus can cultivate students＇ cultural ability efficiently so that they can make more effective communication.
