Integration of Wu Culture into the Yangtze Delta Region

长江三角洲地区之所以有今天的成就,其原因是多方面的,其中,历史文化的积淀及其对经济社会发展的积极推动作用是十分明显的。因此,深入研究该地区的历史文化,既是区域文化研究的需要,也可以通过相关研究总结各地区的历史经验,为今天的社会发展提供借鉴。长三角洲是一个多元文化共存的地区,其中吴文化是代表性文化之一。本文从历史上吴文化在长三角洲地区的几次整合入手,论述了吴文化与长三角洲区域文化发展的紧密关系及发展趋势。

There exist manifold reasons for the cultural achievements in the Yangtze Delta area, among which historical accumulation and social and economic development are the obvious ones. It is therefore necessary to explore the historical culture in the region not only for the summation of the historical experience in the area, but also for reference to the social development. The Yangtze Delta area is a multi cultural area and Wu culture is one of the representative. The article discusses the close relation between Wu culture and culture in the Yangtze Delta at large as well as its trend of development from the perspective of integration of Wu culture into the Yangtze Delta.
