It briefly reviewed the products that are used by clinicans and dental patients for home care in managing dental caries. The contemporary paradigm of caries management by risk assessment was predicted on understanding the balance that exists in the caries process. Caries management is also the area requiring people to consider. The goal is to keep the numbers of the bacteria down to levels where the healthy tissues and environment of the mouth can resist the damaging effects of the bacteria. There are serious unmet needs for new and better products to be developed to meet the consumer＇ s requirement. At the end, the future development trend of dental products was introduced.
