Sister Qiao in the Honglomeng was listed among the twelve gold hairpins with only a few strokes by the writer, which has been taken as an enigma by Honglomeng sclolars. This paper lays bare briefly the enigma and deals with the necessity for why the figure exists. This can help us evaluate Sister Qiao fairly and make a further study of the writing intention of the writer.
