This paper discusses the influence of train speed increase on passenger flow.A Logit model suitable for railway passenger flow analysis under increasedspeed is established and analysis is also done of the influence of speed andticket price on passenger flow. The methods to improve the competitive abili-ty of railway passenger transportation are put forward thereby.
