It is forecasted that the transport market along Ji'nan Qingdao railway will be very active and competitive in the 9th five year plan and the next 10 years,at the same time,the traffic volume will be sufficient.To meet the requirements and occupy the market,the Ji'an Qingdao railway must be transformed through raising speed centering on controlling the tour time of passenger trains within 4 hours.On the basis of the comparison of schemes of raising speed and the distribution of passenger flow,the operation plan of express passenger trains on Ji'nan Qingdao railway is given.Around 2100,30 pairs of trains will operate on this railway,the freight volume will reach 70 million tons.
