Recent developments in machine translation research

摘要 本文介绍近年来国际机器翻译研究领域取得的一些进展,着重介绍统计机器翻译方面取得的进展。具体包括:统计机器翻译的原理和特点、统计机器翻译的发展历程和现状、基于词的统计机器翻译方法、基于短语的统计机器翻译方法、基于句法的统计机器翻译方法等。最后对机器翻译研究今后的发展进行了讨论和展望。 This paper reviews recent developments in machine translation research,especially the research on statistical machine translation.It examines the basic principles and features of statistical machine translation,the history of statistical machine translation,the word-based statistical machine translation approach,the phrase-based approach,and the syntax-based approach.It concludes by exploring the future development of machine translation research.
