This paper discusses the basic mechanism of photocatalytie oxidation, summarizes the latest research results of photocatalytic oxidation technology obtained in China and Foreign countries,puts forward some new techniques for increasing the efficiency the degradation of organic wastewater by using TiO2 photocatalytic technology, and looks forward to application prospect of the treatment of organic wastewater with photocatalytie oxidation technology.
