Based on the investigation of the seamless tube mills commissioned in the 90’s,two aspects of significance relating to present seamless tube making have been pointed out,i.e, the use of the uptodate technology & highlevel automatic process control.Upon which,the viewpoints concerning the revamping of the existing plants using fullfloating mandrel mill technology are stated.
