“出人头地”考索

Exploration of Chinese Idiom ＂Chu Ren Tou Di＂

"出人头地"是我们习见的成语,但是在日常语用中经常出现误写的现象。本文通过对文渊阁《四库全书》中"出人头地"所有相关文献用例的整理,结合其他材料,对"出人头地"进行了如下三个方面的说明:考辨源流,认为其定型四字最早出现在元《氏族大全》卷三中;分析词形变化;指出演变路径。

Chu Ren Tou Di （出人头地）, a Chinese idiom famihar to almost everyone, is always mistaken for other Chinese characters in daily life. This paper has done an exploration of this idiom by sorting out the specific examples in The Si Ku Quan Shu （ Library in the Four Branches of Literature） of Wenyuange Edition. Combined with the findings from other reference materials, the author has done the exploration in the following three aspects ： the exploration of the origins of the idiom leads to such a conclusion that this idiom of Four Characters first appeared in the third volume of The Records of Surnames compiled in Yuan Dynasty; the morphological changes of this idiom; and its development.
