Aesthetic Thoughts: A Supporting Point for Establishing Translation Theories

在翻译研究"文化转向"思潮的影响下,翻译与美学的结合注定要成为翻译研究的一种方向。把美学分析运用到翻译中去,有助于实现译文与原文的美学特征的等值。本文在回顾美学和翻译的历史渊源基础上,研究和探讨语际间转化中的美学问题,试图以此来为翻译理论的构建寻找新支点。

Under the background of cultural turn in translation studies, the combination of aesthetics and translation has become a new orientation in translation studies. Application of aesthetic analysis to translation practice helps to find out the aesthetic equivalence between the source and target text. After a brief historical retrospect about the relations between aesthetics and translation studies, the paper has mainly discussed the aesthetic problems in translation from one language to another, hoping that it will be a supporting point for establishing translation theories.
