周族发源地略考——兼论夏周关系

An Investigation on the Cradle land of People in Zhou Dynasty and a Discussion about the Relation between Xia and Zhou Dynasty

周民族的发源地究竟在何处,学界向来存在着很多不同的看法。本文通过对史籍中所记载的周民族的居住地望、迁徙过程以及夏周两个民族关系问题的考述,结合现有考古发掘材料的证据,认为周民族应起源于晋南地区,而夏、周两民族之间存在着密切关系。

Researchers have held different opinions about the cradle land of people in Zhou Dynasty. This paper has conducted an investigation on the residential places recorded in historical materials, the people＇s migration process and their relation with Xia Dynasty. And the author has, combined with other findings in historical researches, drawn a conclusion that the cradle land of people in Zhou Dynasty should be in the southern part of Jin （present Shanxi province） and a close relationship should have been established between Xia and Zhou Dynasty.
