On the Science and Technology Dimensions of Construction of Ecological Civilization

现代科技为生态文明建设提供强有力的技术支撑。但人类文明发展史证明,随着科技的进步,科技应用的负效应也越来越大,其根源主要在于人,在于人类对科技成果应用的不恰当。因此,建设生态文明既离不开科技进步又必须对其进行必要的约束,通过确立生态文明的科技价值观、践行生态文明的科技发展原则、扶持和推广生态科技,寻求人与自然和谐发展的科技进步之路。

But, with the progress of science and technology, history of the development of human civilization proves that it has played a more and more important role in the negative effect of science and technology, which roots main in people, in the inappropriate application of scientific and technological achievements of mankind. So, construction of ecological civilization can not be separated from the scientific and technological progress, in the mean time, it must be bound necessarily.
