University-School partnerships in the U. S. have had a long history. Partnership between universities and schools in teacher education reform has involved staff development, teacher training, and school improvement. The four effective model university school partnerships identified include： Benedum Collaborative （West Virginia）; Southern Maine Partnership; California State University, Chico： A rural regional partnership; Maryland Partnership for Teaching and Learning, K-16. To reach the high levels of teacher quality, educators, policymakers, and education researchers pay attention to key factors in University-School Partnerships.
